The Bayern Munich star and former Real Madrid player Xabi Alonso talks about Cristiano Ronaldo's and Manuel Neuer chanches for winning the Ballon d'or. The Spanish international left Real Madrid this summer and joined The German giant on 29 August of 2014. Xabi Alonso is currently in great form and he even broke few records in Bundesliga. The Spanish midlefielder never really revealed why did he leave The current Uefa Chanpions League winners he only said: "I left Real Madrid beacuse I want new challenges in my life".
According to Marca the Spanish international today said: "Manuel Neuer Is The Best Goalkepper I've ever played with, and he deserves Ballon d'or this year!"
Don't forget that Xabi played with Iker Casillas in Real Madrid for years and that Iker Casillas is considered one of the best goalkeepers ever! This statement is really suprising beacause The former Real Madrid star was a really good friend of The football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo (the favourite for winning the Ballon d'or ahead Manuel Neuer) and Iker Casillas. Also The current Bayern Munich player was in good relationship with Real Madrid as well.
Xabi Alonso was big Madridista and his leaving this summer was suprising to some people. Xabi Alonso has 158 apperances for Real Madrid in which he scored 4 goals. The Bayern superstar has won 6 trophys with Real Madrid (Uefa Champions League 2014), (Uefa Super Cup 2014), (La Liga 2011-2012), (Copa Del Rey 2010-2011, 2013-2014), (Supercopa de Espana 2012) In his last season with Real Madrid he missed the final game in Uefa Champions League against Real Madrid's city rivals Atletico Madrid beacuse of the two straight yellow cards (in 2 games) against Bayern Munich his current club in semi-fiansl of Uefa Champions League.
