The Portuguese International Kepler Laveran Lima Ferreira known as Pepe talks about Cristiano Ronaldo's chanches for winning Ballon d'or. The Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and Pepe are teammates in Real Madrid and in Portugal national team as well. The Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo is the biggest candidate for winnig Ballon d'or this year. If Ronaldo wins it it will be his third Ballon d'or and his second in last two years. Ronaldo's biggeset rival for winnig the prestigious award is this year World Cup winner Manuel Neuer who is playing awsome in his club (Bayern munich) as well.
Few days ago Manuel Neuer insulted The Real Madrid superstar saying: "I am an athlete, no ambassador of a brand, besides being the first goalkeeper of Adidas. I'm not the sort of person who poses in their underwear,"
Yesterday when Pepe was asked about Ballon d'or he said: "If any other players wins, they should be ashamed given what Cristiano has been doing, beating lots of records, scoring 17 goals in the Champions League last season, these things are almost impossible, In three months he has scored 23 goals. The Brazilian legend Ronaldo Luis Nazario de Lima (former Real Madrid player) also said that Portuguese International Cristiano Ronaldo should win this year Ballon d'or as well. Last year Cristiano Ronaldo won his second ballon d'or after his amazing individual season in which he scored sixty nine goals. 59 goals in 51 appearances for Real Madrid and 10 goals in 9 appearances for his national team Portugal. His last year biggest rival was also Bayern Munich player Franck Ribery. This season so far Ronaldo has scored 25 goals for his club and country (Portugal). He scored two goals for Portugal and 23 goals for Real Madrid.
