Lothar Matthäus talks about Cristiano Ronaldo and Ballon d'or!


Lothar Matthäus former bayern Munich player talks about Cristiano Ronaldo! Former German International talked about Ronaldo's chanches of winning Ballon d'or. In recent interview the fifty-three year old said: "I'm no patriot, I'm football fan. Ronaldo and Messi played 8-10 years at highest level and everybody should respect that. It's not fair to say that they're top favourites because of their fame. Ronaldo is on the top, because of professionalism and determination. He had incredible year. Maybe not with his national team, but he was the one who led them to the World Cup."

He also said: "He has set a new record in the Champions League and scores in every league-game. He's my slight favorite. The people in Germany are just jealous of him, because he's too good and famous. That bothers me. He's just footballer and his football fascinates me. That's no decleration of love, it's just a fact, that he's an exceptional player," 


Lothar Matthäus is a German and Bayern Munich legend and his statements caused a lot of anger in Germany as Cristiano Ronaldo's biggest rival is The German Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer who won World Cup this year. After his football carrer as a player Lothar became football coach and he already coached 7 teams.
